Page 80 Add to second last paragraph
"Volunteers attached to cavalry regiments had to supply a horse. In practice, only about a third could do this and the equipment was supplied by the provinces or donations from those unable to serve." Ref 1

Page 86 Elbe Infanterie Regiment
Delete the paragraph starting "Initially the regiment……." and replace with
"The I and II battalions had a stovepipe shako and blue Portuguese coats with red collar and cuffs. The shoulder straps were red then replaced with yellow. Belts were white. The III battalion wore a British rifle type uniform with a green tunic and black facings piped in white. Belts were black with three rows on buttons on the tunic. The shako was black and in the French style with a Prussian cockade and bugle horn badge. Trousers were grey." Ref 1
Delete the last sentence of the last paragraph "The battalion was dressed………" and replace with "The unit retained the French style white habite-vest and trousers of the 1st Westphalian IR along with white belts and a French shako" Some men wore a blue jacket with green facings". Ref 1

"The jaegers wore essentially the same uniform as the first brigade with a red collar, Swedish cuffs and a yellow aiglette on the left shoulder. The shako had a black plume. They were armed with rifles, initially Russian then British." (Ref 5).

"The 1st Hussars had a green shabraque with a red dogs tooth trimmed in yellow. The pelisse fur was white.
The 2nd Hussars had a black dolman and pelisse with black lace and light blue collar/cuffs/sash on the dolman only. The fur trim was brown. The shako was a black Russian style with a white falling plume, white cords and brass chinstraps. This was replaced with a British brown fur busby in early 1815. Overalls were grey with a black stripe. Belts were black as was the shabraque which was trimmed with a mid blue dogs tooth pattern." (Ref 4)

"The artillery wore black Russian shakos. The tunics were green with black cuffs and collars piped with red. Shoulder straps were green and belts were black or light brown leather (sources vary). Overalls were grey with a black stripe with white metal buttons.The tunics were replaced with Prussian ones in April 1815 but the Russian shakos, black belts and Russian cannon were retained. Each battery had 6 Russian 6 pounders and 2 10 pounder unicorns." (Ref 3)
Page 88 Add before "Other Units"
"The former Duchy of Berg was incorporated into Prussia in 1815 and in March, the 28th and 29th Infantry Regiments were formed from the 1st (28th) and 2nd Berg IR and the Berg Grenadier battalion (29th). All fought at Ligny.
The officers and NCOs wore Prussian uniforms but the men retained the white Berg uniforms. These consisted of black French shakos with a black and white Prussian cockade, white tunics with coloured collars, cuffs, turnbacks and shoulder straps, white belts and grey trousers over black gaiters. Packs were calfskin and cartridge pouches black while greatcoats were mid-grey. A sabre briquet was carried. The turnbacks, cuffs and collars were light blue for the 28th and red for the 29th. (The earlier uniform had lapels in light blue for IR1 and red for IR2.) The grenadier battalion had mid blue lapels with yellow British style lace and red piping. The shoulder straps were blue and the collars and cuffs were red. The cuff flaps were white and buttons were brass for all units. A unit of Freiwillige jaegers was attached with a green tunic, red collar with yellow litzen and trim ,red cuffs trimmed in yellow, black belts, black shako and grey trousers.I" (Refs 1 and 2).
