Seems a pity we can't keep this gaming area politics free.

Sometimes history makes for painful reading.

war is political, as is history (both the making of and later recounting). I often read sources from various political perspectives when researching for game scenarios because they focus on different stuff, you can learn details that you would otherwise have misse.

I found it to be interesting reading.

I am not certain why we are reading a nearly two year old series and plethora of articles on the plight of indigenous peoples on a miniature wargame page.

I don't pass modern-value moral judgement on history. Instead, I like painting, rolling dice and knocking metal figures over.
