"Prolific author Quentin Barry's latest is this fascinating and comprehensive study of the campaign leading up to the naval battle of Lissa in 1866. Just got my copy. Interesting and I will probably keep it, but if you are looking for pictures, ship diagrams and drawings, stats, etc, particularly from a modelling perspective this book is NOT for you. There are only 12 photographs of the ships, none of which haven't been seen in a dozen other places. |
