The Hull & East Riding Wargames Club are playing "Operation Market Garden" on Saturday the 16th of September, later this year.
I have taken on the project of building Arnhem bridge for the game. Its starting to come together. Early work:
I have now got together all the bits, time to start the main work:
I don't claim to be a modeller, the whole six foot plus bridge will be a basic piece as its only liable to get used every 5 to 10 years!!
The aim is to get everything finished over the next week or two, then its on to Arnhem itself. More pictures to follow as I go along |
