Amazing what you are doing

Gunner Dunbar28 May 2023 4:39 a.m. PST

Maybe, it's all coming to a screaming halt though, I've had 3 people come forward saying the files are causing an error in their software, they work at my end, if I can't figure it out I may change to supplying prints only rather than files.

I had this issue with some other files (someone else's). They had worked for lots of people, but when I tried to slice they gave me error messages on them that they needed to be repaired. Some could be repaired, some could not. Some would not work in Lychee, but would work in Chitubox.

IN playing around with them, I suspect (but can not prove) that it had something to do with how much memory was available on my computer. Can't prove it, but it seemed if I had too much stuff open, it would sometimes give me errors. Gave up on Lychee and just ended up using CHitubox.

Please do not stop making your stuff available because a few people have issues. I have not tried any of them, but if you say what files are problematic, I'll see how they slice for me.

Please don't stop posting your models, if there are errors then opening the file in MS 3D Builder usually fixes it. I've had similar issues with models I've bought.

For what it is worth, I had downloaded the first German wagon and horses the other day- I tried to open them in Chitubox, and was unable to. The 'item' just would not appear on the Chitubox plate. Sorry I don't know enough to be of further help.

OK, that another one with issues, I'm pulling them, sorry guys.

… I may change to supplying prints only rather than files.

A while ago when I asked about buying some prints, here:
TMP link

The response was that you wouldn't sell bare prints. Did that only apply to prints from files that aren't your own IP?

Gunner Dunbar30 May 2023 3:17 a.m. PST

Hi Hornswoggler

Yes, IP issues,, I'm happy to sell prints of my own files.

Thanks for clarifying that.
