You were asked – TMP link

Do you have a miniature of "yourself" in your collection? Something that looks like you (however you define that), even if it doesn't reflect your job, clothes, etc.

I finally got one. I found a good design of a 'Cthulhu investigator' that I thought looked somewhat like me. I asked the Painter 'Lagoon Six' to just paint it up. He decided to blow my socks off by doing some minor fixes to it, and I now have a very good Mini-me ! I have no idea when or if it will ever get used, but it is pretty cool.

I recall a company at HISTORICON one year that would 3D scan you and produce a 28mm likeness as a Viking, Roman and maybe ACW figure? Are they still around?

I suspect that the technology isn't all that far away to create your own figures of yourself.

The company that a couple of people mentioned was a proof of concept.

You could scan your face with the selfie feature on your phone and digitally transfer it to any Miniature STL and print the figure in almost any scale.

The technology has to be really close.

I actually7 do have a mini of myself, sculpted and cast
by a well-respected person who has a line of mini's ad
who sculpts for a line of long standing.

He offered copies for a modest price and others in our
group took advantage..

I don't know if it's still happening but once upon a time a model maker was making mini-me's of individual members of the Sealed Knot for his companies ECW range. Several of the senior officers were very obvious and others were in the ranks if you knew the people concerned.
