This is just a guide "to the holdings of the Operational
Archives Section, U.S. Naval Historical Center, Washington Navy Yard, Washington, D.C." for the US 3rd Fleet. This would be a good source for someone working on a book or article about the operations of the US 3rd Fleet during WW2.
