Necessity is the mother of invention. Those are cool looking vehicles. I'm sure the average Russian conscript would prefer to not need them.
Now I'm just waiting for the Putin apologists to show up and say these are the best vehicles ever and could kill any western tank.

Russia is a third world country attached to a vast nuclear arsenal. They do not have a GDP capable of maintaining said nuclear arsenal while fielding a genuinely first rate military thus the bragging about small numbers of magically wonderful weapons for the benefit of internal propaganda even if those weapons are often chimeric.

Gotta admit that would be a sight to see… depending on which end of the weapon you are observing it from….

Weird…. it's usually the invaded country that has to improvise not the so-called-first world invader…..

Yeah … I'm beginning to question if Russia should be considered 1st World ?
