Not sure this would be the most fun game. And since the initial fusilade took out so many Regulars, Its an ambush scenario, and basically unwinnable for the gov't troops with not a lot of strategy involved for either side, I would research other engagements if you are interested in this conflict. |

Great museum along I75 north of Tampa. I enjoyed it. One Diorama showed how the Seminole calico shirts allowed them to blend with the swamp terrain. Two interesting comments concerned musketry which we do not include in game rules. Most of the Seminole muskets were small caliber hunting muskets/rifles. As a result several accounts mention soldiers shaking out musket balls which had not penetrated their hot wool uniform coats. When recovered a majority of soldiers recovered from Dave died from head shots. |
