Our group started a France 1940 campaign using BA. The French scored a victory in this battle. The French players put on a spectacular die-rolling display which stopped the German advance before it got started. A disappointing outcome for the Germans but they will do better next time. We had three newbies and the rest of us had not played in a very long time. So this was more of a learning game. Follow the link to my Flickr page. link

The Germans failed to take advantage of the mobility provided by the motorbikes and the half-track. I think they were playing with a tournament mindset. The vehicles are worth points so let's keep them safe. This isn't a points game! |

However, the Germans did get pinned down early by the French before they could get going. Amazing die-rolling from the French players. |
