A quick question on these models – been researching these for a while in anticipation of a few bags from OG. Now that they are here my brain cannot for the life of me make out what is going on with their chests.

There is a wire thin part going across their chest. Reference this image:

It looks like the strap on the right, which goes between the pack straps and running over top the chest. That makes sense, but these models are wearing greatcoats. Is this a goof then? Would the pack be strapped across with greatcoats as well?

Just trying to figure out what I am looking at. Even if it is a mistake, I learned a little about uniform functionality and I can comfortably paint them even if it is an error

Thanks.

Packs and belts would be worn on top of the overcoat. It is not a mistake. You can't wear your overcoat over your backpack.

Thanks 79th. I figured that was the case, and obviously on the shoulder straps for sure. Ive just never see the chest cross strap in use with overcoat in plates (not under it, "in use" might be a better term). Think that is why I was second guessing myself. Im going to assume that wearing the cross strap with the coat happened, just not as common as these sculpts give them credit for.
