I enjoyed painting these figures.

I love the drow, but like the others too.

I wish to Olympic torch relay looked like this.

nice work!

Nice work. Were these conversions? I'm wondering why the torches?

In most editions of D&D, elves and their underground counterpart drow can see in the dark. In each edition, limitations on infravision / nightvision / twilightvision / whatever it's called can mean brighter light is sometimes required, but elves carrying torches is not generally a theme.

Thanks guys.

The figures are Pathfinder deep cuts female elf fighters.

I painted one as a drow upon request.

I thought they were D&D, as I had a large number of various WizKids white figures to paint for the game and have more to come.

I assumed that they were carrying torches because they know they'll have to destroy the village to save it. Or perhaps they're going to find a vampire's coffin and burn it and the sleeping body inside.

If you get lost in the dungeon, just look up and follow the trail of soot.

Besides, if elves can see in the dark, that's fine, but how are the players supposed to see them? Did anyone think of that? Last thing you want is to go fumbling around a cluttered board feeling for a dang elf. I'll leave the obvious jokes to someone else.

I thought they were holding ice creams.
