Here is an AAR of a game played in April with my playtester Peter. The Romans ahistorically used their velites as hamappoi. After Duncan Head pointed out that velites weren't used in this role until later we played a second game with velites acting as straightforward LI. I'll post that battle report soon.

To point out the obvious, I used flats as I didn't have enough figure bases for the armies. Optio looks much better with miniatures. :-)
