We had a great game recently set during the siege of Tangiers with the British Troops storming the besiegers trenches. Write up with lots of photos on my blog here: link

Wow! I've wanted to game that historical battle since first learning about it years ago but have never managed to do so. I think yours is the first one I've seen photos of and it looks awesome and sounds like a closely fought very enjoyable game for all. Well done and thanks for sharing!

Beautiful figures. Are they League of Augsberg or different figures. What rules did you use? Any chance you can post an OB? I've been thinking about doing this battle someday.

Great looking game, table and units!

I echo the above. Outstanding! Thanks for posting it on TMP.

Thanks very much guys. The English are all Font Rank figures, the Berbers are mainly Gripping beast with also some Perrys and other Arab types. In terms of OOB I dont have one Im afraid. Each unit on here is a regiment representing a company, three companies being an actual regiment historically. However the actual forces loosely represented are The Kings Battallion (the guards) Dumbartons Regiment and the Tangiers Regiment. The Horse are the Tangiers regiment and the Spanish Regiment, inherited I believe from the Portuguese. Rules were Pike and Shotte slightly amended but not much.

Great looking game. Some of those flags are huge! Are they in scale? A gust of wind and you would be flying.

Hha, they are sold as 28mm but I am sure they are too big, that said they look lovely so we dont mind too much.
