I have posted a lengthy report about my first day at this year's Little Wars convention held this past weekend in Lisle, IL. I had a great time running three games over TH-FRI-SAT, reconnecting with old friends and making many new acquaintances. Lots of good looking games at the show and i will report on these in an upcoming post. The picture below shows the set up of my 54mm Khartoum game. I was there Saturday. I saw his table and it was impressive. Overall, the show was a huge hit for me! I saw many friends I haven't seen in years. Lots of hugs and back slapping was done. It was a good day! |

I will post pictures of some of the other games at Little Wars, tomorrow. I was particularly impressed with the giant Guadalcanal game, the Circus Maximus and the 54mm Attack on La Haye Saint, among others. Lots of good quality games this year. JIm |

For those of you keeping score, the Dervish won the first two battles, but the Egyptians won the third game using some "outside the box" strategy. All three games were a blast for me to run. |
