It's been a long time since I last posted anything on here, but here goes

Australian SAS recon figures
I've always had an interest in Vietnam so it was only a matter of time before I made my way back to it, a Christmas Present from a good friend really brought it back into my line of sight with a bump. The figures are once again from Empress miniatures, beautiful little figures and full of character

I'm planning on adding more so please feel free to comment or just drop on by and look.
accidentalpainter.blogspot.com there are more pictures on my very stalled blog.
Thanks for looking cheers Russ

Never seen Tiger Stripes done better. Realistic hair colour I always struggle with and blond hair I never even attempt. How did you do the RTO's?

That is great work. I agree with deadhead about the stripes.

AAAGH! I feel inadequate looking at your lovely painting!

Thanks guys as always it's much appreciated

Deadhead, thank you for the compliment. The hair is vx88 from Games Workshop, washed over with agrax earthshade and then dry brushed with vx88 and highlighted with desert yellow from the army painter range. It's not an overly bright combination which I think helps to keep it more real looking.

FusilierDan, uglyfatbloke, Raynman Choctaw, 79thPA and Herkybird thank you all, its been a while since I painted Tigerstripe so I wasn't 100% convinced I'd got it right. The next batch will be ERDL camo! Well that's the plan.

Thanks again guys, keep looking and I will keep posting.

I'm with Deadhead. Amazing work.

Thank you Oberlindes, mixing in the different types as helped make them more fun to paint.
