I am wanting to buy armies for the battle at Palo Alto to start me in the period. I've found online catalogs for three manufacturers: Eureka, Scale Creep, and Blue Moon. Only Eureka appears to offer the game markers needed for Regimental Fire & Fury rules, but many of their figures are noted as out of stock in their USA distributor's store. All three brands look acceptable in the online photos. I am curious if the three brands are compatible size-wize. Any recommendations or cautions would be appreciated. I'm not in a rush, but do want to send off a big order sometime in the next couple of weeks.

I think if you contact Eureka USA, and tell them what you want, they can get everything you need from Australia pretty quickly.

Eureka USA are a fantastic outfit and they should get everything out to you fairly quickly upon restock.

I believe the Eureka figures are slightly smaller than Blue Moon. Someone was posting comparison pics of the two on Lead Adventure Forum. Old Glory are most likely a tad smaller than either Eureka or Blue Moon.

I was impressed with the Eureka range, not sure it's 100% comprehensive tho. For Palo Alto, which I did in 10mm, you will need some presidial and ranchero cavalry, flying artillery and the Mexican light infantry in fatigues. I used regular line for my coast guard and zappadores. Good luck and look forward to seeing photos of progress once you get things kicked off.

I can tell you that Eureka/AB and Blue Moon will match up just fine. The former are a bit more in true proportion than the latter. Both though have great detail.
Note, this is all in regards to the French Revolution era.

Mark from ScaleCreep here.

I sell an 18mm Civil War range but not Mexican American. I have the Freikopr range but it si 15mm, not 18. The 1st Corps are great but 25/28mm.

Old Glory are fine on the same table as AB. Difference is a little more evident with OG and Blue Moon, but I don't find the difference off putting.

I've got a Eureka American army for the FnF Palo Alto Scenario, plus flags, that I'm never going to have time to paint. I'm in Texas.
