Optio is a diceless wargaming system that is all about tactics and seizing opportunities as they arise. I've been working on it for ages (shame how the really good ideas only come very slowly) but it is – touch wood – nearing completion, or at least sufficient completion for publication. Here is a game played on the 1st April in union with the SoA Battleday. The Optio site needs a considerable overhaul so please ignore everything else there.
