I remember that scenario too well. Should note the buildings entrances were blocked by the surviving citizens so the Pirates couldn't easy hide or engage the Spanish from the buildings…. if they had time to think about doing so.

Also, the was a played scenario with the Pirates landing at the quay and invading the town before this scenario. Accounts for the previous battle bodies in the streets, mentioned in report. The town Alcalde wasn't much help then either…. flee at first pirate sighting.
