BORDERWARS May 19-21 in 2023, The weekend AFTER Mother's Day hahmgs.org/BW2023.html A three day historical miniature Gaming convention in Kansas City. Held at the Holiday Inn & Suites Overland Park-West at 8787 Reeder Street, Overland Park, KS 66214. More games announced! (some dates & times still being negotiamanated) including… The Great Martian Skyship Race Battletech-The most popular miniatures game today! (what? I saw it on the internet, must be true!) The Great Northfield Raid – The James-Younger gang vs Minnesota. Six Day War games Sainai & the Golan Heights Yom Kippur War Ukraine 2023 and George Knapp's Hastings 1066. We're trying to organise a Bolt Action tournament, but apparently some people's kids are getting out of juvie that weekend, I dunno, priorities? Remember, everyone who stays at the hotel gets a free HMGS membership!

What are the typical attendance numbers like? My convention experience is limited to the big East cons but I will likely be moving out to the Great Plains this year.

precovid, we were usually round a hundred people, depending on graduations and guard weekends. If you can make it, we'll be at least one up on last year. When will you get here? Little wars this month and Nashcon in august are both really big shows. Comparable to fall in/cold wars some years.

It wouldn't be until the fall. Nashville would be a bit out of range as I'll be in Nebraska, but I'm down for Chicago and KC.
