Sure, there's nothing technically "great" about living a life of crime, but if that life became the inspiration for one of the greatest literary villains of all time, it should be considered pretty great. It's also the story of Adam Worth, an enlisted Union veteran of the Civil War who was later dubbed the "Napoleon of the Criminal World" by Scotland Yard… Military: link |
