Hi guys

Completed these winter Germans on commission, a mix of Heer and SS, all AB miniatures, the Pak 40 is Zvezda with AB crew, the Schwimwagen was a spare 3D print I had lying around, so thought I'd throw it in, a fun little project that fit in well with my own current projects.

Great looking miniatures!

Yes, AB are great minis, accurate, good poses, packed full of action and details, fun to paint to, the pointing greatcoat officer is one of my favourites.

Great work. What did you use for snow?

Snow is white glue and baking soda.

They've come up nicely, mate. I like the cross-hatching on the PAK 40.

Thanks Dal

They look great.

Snow is white glue and baking soda.

I am surprised – is baking soda inert with respect to metal minis over time ?

Gunner Dunbar29 Mar 2023 10:47 p.m. PST

I have no concerns about baking soda effecting miniatures, it's not an uncommon way of depicting snow, my first time of doing this was about 15 years ago.
