A follow on from my previous Minden AAR. I refought the battle using two sets of rules, Carnage & Glory (C&G) and Might & Reason (M&R). I tried to be a little more thoughtful this time in my approach, especially using C&G, as the rules move quicker than M&R and you can get punished pretty quickly for blindly charging in without preparation. Anyway, see the blog if interested.

Excellent game reports, mate, but the comparison between C&G and M&R was especially well done. I haven't played either (my preferred rules are Grant's, not a popular choice down here, though I play DBSYW as well, for a tricorne fix) but C&G is looking more and more interesting. Especially the campaign option.

Very interesting . I'd like to ask how you attach your labels. Thanks

Because I was switching rules, and labels, back and forth this was just printer paper with scotch tape holding it on. If I 100% settled on a set of rules I'd probably print it on 65# paper, laminate it, and then figure out a more secure, but still removeable adhesive. Because my bases are a mix of bass wood and PLA (these days I just 3D print any bases I need) I would need to do a little experimentation to figure out the best method of adhering the labels for robustness.
