As my ECW project comes to an end, I created a completely unnecessary storage box (Naseby themed of course) for my dice bags, measuring sticks, dice trays, and arc of fire templates.
For more details, and to take in the pure frippery of it all see link

Well I have a box mine is just a plain old plastic storage box with two pullout trays split into compartments. Stores all my dice and markers. Yours is very creative and looks great. I'm not sure I'm going to create a themed box for all my different projects though that's a bit to much work I think 🙂 |

I use a 12x12 scrap booking box from Michaels as my Game kit. It carries the cards, tape measures, folding dice trays, a bit of cotton for smoke and dice. The minis and rules are packed into similar boxes and all travel in a single bag from IKEA. If it doesn't fit in the bag, it doesn't go. I design my games so that I can travel light and be set up within 10 minutes. |

I keep my dice and gaming supplies in an ammo box…seems to be the correct theme…

Dice go in dice bags, which go in plastic sweater boxes on the shelf in the closet which holds game support material--templates, rulers, status markers and such. However, when a series of games is scheduled, all the support material for that game is placed in a "Plano" box-clear plastic, flat and compartmented--until the season is concluded. |

I use plastic craft organizers. All the tokens and faction dice are in there and kept with the miniatures. The ultimate grab & go! |

My dice live in a humble Minifigs cardboard box. |

That's a lot of dice! However, they will be safer than in a bucket ;-) |

In bags in a plastic file box. Some in a cardboard box on a shelf. |

In the house, in ziplock bags mostly, but some on the end table by the couch, in case they are needed quickly for urgent, surprise attacks. |

Craft box like Fitzovich – also use it to store smoke markers, disordered markers, etc. |

Some live under the furniture. Haven't seen them in years… |

Some of mine reside in a cylindrical chest of drawers that supports a bust of Augustus wearing a Ghenghis Khan crown. others are in a bag or a plastic bowl. None roll consistently lucky for me so I tend to be dismissive of their welfare. |

Rectangular plastic tackle box (similar to a parts container, with slots for dividers, allowing custom sized compartments), organized by die type, in separate compartments, d4-d30. I play 2e BattleSystem, a bucket-o-dice game, needing to roll one die per figure attacking. I often have units of 50 figures attacking, so I need plenty of each type of die, though the d6 is the most common Attack Die used. For rolling them, I find a Dice Tower to be the best option: completely random results; can handle 30+ dice at a go; keeps the dice contained, within the tray, so they don't knock figures and terrain pieces over, nor do they fall onto the floor when rolling. Cheers! |

I have a large, red, glass chalice that holds all of my dice. It's known as "The Dice Chalice". |

Scattered around the house (In dice bags! Not like caltrops!) Some are in my study, some are by my readin'-n'-' thinkin' chair in the den. |

In a Crown Royal bag, as they should be. Although, the ECW box, ammo box, and dice jail are all awesome ideas. |
SpuriousMilius | 27 Mar 2023 11:57 a.m. PST |
Years ago, when I frequented "Gentlemen's Clubs" some of the performers would carry their makeup, cigarettes, & their tips in a velvet bag which a pint of Crown Royal whiskey was sold in & I did so with my dice for years, but now (like SGT. Slag) I've got some "Infinite Divider System" clear plastic boxes which I use for gaming tokens, etc. so I can put dice in them also & keep the different shapes segregated. |
ZULUPAUL | 27 Mar 2023 12:49 p.m. PST |
Right on Stryderg, most of mine are in those bags…and I don't even drink alcohol. |

I keep my dice in various bags from CottontailKite, seller on Etsy link I have commissioned specific bags for various dice then discovered how nice they were for holding game Tokens. I have sets for Test of Honor, and various themes of Congo, and home brew Viking. |

My "immediate use" dice live in a divided plastic storage box, along with a load of coloured tiddlywinks, turn counters etc. The storage box fits neatly into a flat box which when opened becomes two dice trays. My reserve dice live in zip lock bags in my dedicated game bag, separated by type (D8, D10 etc), although my original D and D dice have their own special bag. My hundreds of mini D6 live in old tobacco tins, in my game bag, grouped by colour. |

I have a friend who keeps his dice stuck in plasterboard, because that's where they end up lodged after he throws them across the room in disgust. |

A theme that seems to be coming through these responses is that we all own too many dice. 😉 |
robert piepenbrink | 29 Mar 2023 4:57 p.m. PST |
No. It is impossible for a wargamer to own too many dice. Anyway, I still haven't had custom dice made for my Vichy French, or found a matching dice bag. So my set is incomplete. |

I have an old-fashioned cigar humidor, it has a series of shallow drawers with dividers to hold cigars. I keep dice in the lower drawers and an assortment of other items used as markers. There are some deeper drawers that I use to hold index cards and pens. It has fancy doors that close to keep everything in order when I'm not gaming. |

For ages, I stored them in a pencil bag I made myself back in elementary school sloyd class, but a couple years ago my wife confiscated it to put our daughter's pencils in it, so now I use purpose-made dice bags. |
