Some members of the San Antonio chapter of the Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) club of Texas recently met up at the Printed Meaples game store (about 5 miles north of the Alamo in downtown San Antonio) to re-enact the famous battle. They met on 7 March – just one day and 187 years after the anniversary of the final day of the battle.

Looks like great fun, which is what matters. The Alamo model is well done though of course quite inaccurate in many respects. But it looks very playable.
