AdeptiCon seems like the perfect place excuse to buy an Airbrush. I have a really old Badger and a new USB $60 USD Amazon special. TBH, that portable is a good priming and base coat workhorse. But I want to do more. I've had classes using the H&S Infinity and that is a sweet thing but it's easily $250 USD sweet. I also want a new compressor, the Husky in the garage is a bit loud in the studio. 😆 Maybe an Iwata HP-CS, mid range price but if end up getting a H&S down the road I'm not money ahead. Oh well, maybe I just go by feel. |

Check out Spraygunner.com The H&S Evolution line are about $100 USD less than their Infinity line. I have an Evolution, and it works great. Spraygunner's NO-Name products,(airbrushes, compressors, and flow meters) are dirt cheap, and everything I've picked up works excellently. |

Look for a airbrush/compressor combo. A few years ago, I purchased an IWATA HP-CS Eclipse Airbrush Kit with Airbrush Depot Tank Compressor and 6 Foot Air Hose Set, Airbrush Paint, Airbrush Holder, Instructional DVD, Cleaning Tank, Mixing Sticks and Cups for $300. USD No complaints! |

I have a Patriot and Sotar 20/20 both by badger and I love them both, but I also don't have an H&S or Iwata to compare them to. Still they're good airbrushes and I'd recommend them both. |

I got a California Air compressor and it's really quiet and has a tank. I've found the "hobby company compressors" are overpriced for what they are. My spray booth is louder than my compressor. I've had badger compressors and a super cheapo tank one from Menards and both were loud. |
