For anyone who has access to the old Volley and Bayonet ACW scenario book, how do the Confederates set up when using Albert Sidney Johnston's original deployment plan? I ask because I wanted to adapt the Sidney Johnston battle plan for Across A Deadly Field/Fire & Fury.

This is the guts of the "What if" section:

"A.S.Johnson's original plan of battle had called for III Corps, I Corps and II Corps to deploy from left to right across what would be the southern edge of the board, with the Reserve Corps to the rear."

"allow the Confederate forces to deploy across the south board edge as Johnson had planned, up to six inches in from the edge of the board."

Cheers

Sounds like a much sounder plan than the one used. Perhaps add some early breakfast so troops wouldn't stop to eat Federal food.
