not much historicals. Years ago I suggested Little Wars co-locate with AdeptiCon. Now AdeptiCon has pretty much outgrown its location and has games at a completely different hotel. Little Wars is… somewhere in bumble Chicago and quite the drive honestly. |

Personally I'd rather go to Little Wars. Way more interesting to me and I can actually park. Plus I don't have to deal with the hordes of 40k tournament folks. Rumor has it that next year Little Wars is returning to the old Adepticon hotel. |

Curious comment Mr. Elmo. The Little Wars location is at Sheraton in Lisle. Literally 30 minutes away from Adepticon's site. Perhaps you could GPS the route and join us. It will be a little different with plenty of parking, or you could stay on site, with the $99 USD per night room block. Eight years ago, and periodically there after we looked at merging with Adepticon. So that is not breaking news. There are a number of issues that could not be resolved. Parking, Vendor Booth cost, Badge Prices, parking, pay to play event tickets, Room rates, parking, satellite location away from Vendor hall, and did I mention parking? Hisoricals would always be the step-child to the other events. Bigger is not always better, just look at what Gencon has evolved into. Rumors are true we will be back the Westin for 2024. |

LMAO. The 3 year project you are referring to applies to the Eden's junction to Wacker drive. It is not the route you would take to Little Wars. It is ironically one of the ways to Adepticon. But these travel related excuses are not really your reasons for passing on Little Wars, are they? If you do not want to go, just don't go. |
