I've playtested this, it's a really great system and we are likely to be using this on one of my training courses. We are looking at a UK Royal Marines variant at the moment as well

I watched it at Connections last month. The Marine that developed it already works for the Marine Wargaming group and had help from the Dietz Foundation. Judging based on the designer's intent I think it succeeds. It also compliments the other board game the Marines are working on, the Assassins Mace.
