I loved these kits as a kid, but only ever had two or three: the Allosaurus, the Styracosaurus, the Sabre-Toothed Cat. The first two have been reissued a few times by Revell, of course. They all purported to be 1/13 scale, although if so, they were all a bit underscale, especially the Allo. The one you needed to tie all the bases together was the Jungle Swamp, and intensely boring model on its merits that was rare indeed in model shops.

Anyway. Given the nominal scale and the attractively Ray Harryhausen style of these things, somebody must have used them in games, no? Bueller? Anyone?

Used the Allosaurus after work with a hot knife putting in "fur" as a swamp monster.
