Tomorrow we are running a play test of my Khartoum! scenario for Little Wars and Historicon. This is a full sized game with the same 6ft by 24ft tables (times 3 such tables) that I will be using at the convention game. Actually, this set of tables are larger at 6x32 times three. The game uses 54mm Armies In Plastic figures and the vastness of the table space almost seems to swallow up the large armies. So lots of maneuvering area. The game features the Dervish attack (with scaling ladders) on the city walls, while Dervish dhows patrol the Nile River and attempt to attack via the river.
