So, there is a Walking Dead RPG on the way. Do we need specific rules for each IP? YOU KNOW a Last of Us RPG is on the way Wouldn't one set with "pick your trope" be better? Like, fast or slow, different at night, how you get infected, etc. |

It's brand recognition. They are hoping that the name sell copies. But the answer for me is NO. Actually, I've been long done with the zombie trope… Damon. |

Need? No. We also don't need another set of rules for X time period, or another manufacturer making Napoleonic French infantry. Commercially viable? That's another question. Apparently someone thinks so. |

after the first season or so, it was a VERY dumb show. But it will sell to the numerous fan-persons who continued to think it was genius acting and survival skills. I used ot collect zombie rules as there was always a nice idea to steal, but those days are gone. |

Feel a bit of "been there done that". Not sure how well this will go over. I loved Walking Dead but it dragged on and lost to many main characters and I lost interest years ago. |

I'll take a pass as well. I believe I made it to about season 5 or so. I'm more interested in the first year of zombies than the day to day survival after that. I really had high hopes for "Fear the Walking Dead", but was let down there as well. Perhaps a zombie movie with a feeling like 1945 eastern front. Everyone knows the end is near, but they keep fighting anyway. |
