Russia wanted to freeze Europe this winter, but failed.
The campaign to knock out Ukrainian electricity supply has had very small success.

The published Russian budget has only a small increase in defence spending but a much larger increase in security spending – the real threat to Putin is the people of Russia.

As I have said before, Russia has a larger police force then it's army. You are right, there is a reason why it is larger.
