Since WTJ has changed it business model from the sale of individual models to the sale of 3D print files, one of the options it offers is a "commercial" license, permitting resale of miniatures printed using those files.

Does anyone hold a commercial license on any of the predreadnought files, or know of someone who holds one and is willing to sell printed miniatures?

Good question. I'd like to know as well.

Found this on WTJ website. I know nothing of the company. A printed ship starts at $2. USD A 1/2400 Battleship was $3.50 USD which isn't too bad assuming the file cost $3 USD and I think I read you can only print 5 total for the individual license. Don't know how the regulate that.

The worst part is that our 3d printers are vastly inferior to the one they had been using to print their models. I reached out to WTJ about the cost of the machine they had been using.

$90,000 USD

I can sell Printed ships. I am listed on WTJ's site as JS Wargamer Printing. You can order the ship files from WTJ and I can print them. 1/2400 scale BB = $5.00 USD. Cruiser = $4.00 USD and DD's are 3 for $3.50 USD of the same class. You can contact me at admin1@wargamerprinting.com for more info. The ships print out excellently in resin.

The BB example of $5 USD includes the stl file or do we have to buy it?

Further to HMS Exeter's post, I spoke with Jim at WTJ several times last year when it became evident that he would have to abandon the model production part of the business. In addition to the costs for a commercial/industrial grade printer, regular and often frequent maintenance (especially for the nozzles) was necessary, as was the getting the polymer mix right. That was enough to scare me away from even attempting to produce the superb quality of the ships WTJ was known for delivering.

Luckily, I was able to complete my collection of PD and WW1 ships in 1:3000 and 1:1800 before the end.

Hi, you can purchase the file and I can print it. You can email for further discussion at admin1@wargamerprinting.com

Here are a couple of quick pics of printed ships.
