Our Ruckzug campaign continues as the Germans fall back to an area of farmland and try to make a stand near a small farm. No time to dig in or prepare defences, will they be able to hold back the British once again, or will they face a more chaotic retreat? The full AAR is here: link

Cracking game, thanks for sharing. The British seem to have had poor luck with the dice… If I may ask, what was the reason behind the choice of the Daimler? Since it was an attack & defend scenario, rushing the gErman baseline would not have given the win. Would another 2" mortar been appropriate to give more smoke? |

To be honest I don't know, I suspect it may have been bait for AT weapons, or Dave planned on using it to rush a jump off point and close it down (with the pregame barrage it might have been a gamble worth taking). |

Amazingly done AARs and photos! I have trouble even getting enough pictures when I'm running a game, much less when playing in one. |

Amazingly done AARs and photos! I have trouble even getting enough pictures when I'm running a game, much less when playing in one. Thank you, glad you enjoyed them. I've been asked a few times about how I go about compiling them, so much so I wrote a blog post about it. You can read it here if it's of interest How I write a Chain of Command game report |

Excellent terrain with a real ‘feel' of the period which is especially good as this is war gaming terrain. Lovely models. You have captured the atmosphere of the period. Best wishes, Chris |
