I would love your comments on our redesigned website: wargamersterrain.com I've been working on this for a quite sometime. My old webdev software was wholly inadequate and my old windows 10 laptop was…awful. So I moved to a new platform and new webdev software. I love my new iMac, should have done this ages ago. Anyhow I would like your opinions, either on this forum or private email jlinares@wargamersterrain.com New email address too! :-) cheers all, and many thanks Jose Linares |

It looks pretty good. It would be nice if when I select a product, it jumps to the specific photo for that product piece. Minor suggestion. It is very serviceable, otherwise. Cheers! |

thanks, by 'jumps to the specific photo' do you mean when you select the product size/type from the 'Add to Cart'. Not sure I understand. |

Change the "Product Menu" text so that it doesn't look like a link. On the Product Menu, when I mouse over Rivers, Fences, or Wetlands, the second item in the sub-menu is cut off by the box containing the next menu item. The font size is way, way too big on my monitor. Most sites have text that is too small. This text makes me want to back up at least a yard to read it comfortably. Took me a while to realize that there were "next" and previous arrows for photos because they're so tiny, they're sometimes off of the initial screen, and the left arrow is outside of the main content frame. If at all possible, overlay them on the photos as tall, narrow, white chevrons. The captions on the pictures need to be reviewed. There are lots of very bad typos. The caption that says "Looks great!" but has the top 1/3 of the text cut off because it's outside of the image is not good. |

Potential problem: I click on "Fences" (left menu), "worm" and "stone" disappear. Click again, and "worm"/"stone" reappears. Other than that, it looks good. |

A "Contact Us" option would be nice, though I did see links to email you scattered around. Emails are nice, but sometimes there are reasons to mail. Could you make the little arrows beside the photos bigger? This is an unusual feature, and I didn't notice it at first. It looks like the line was inspired by the ACW, though pretty much everything would be acceptable up to Eisenhower and the 1919 army transcontinental convoy. Is the flocking color flexible? Valverde should be nowhere near so green as Antietam, and if you can support that sort of thing, it increases the flexibility of the scenery (you can use it for the Old West). I like the looks of your scenery. Grelber |

Great suggestions guys, I appreciate them all. I'll work on these. I request suggestions because after a while you go blind to many things others see. so again thanks Jose |

I've made quite a few updates based on the suggestions. The arrow suggestion is a real good one, but unfortunately the software I use does not have that or larger arrows. So I changed it to thumbnails and have notified the manufacturer accordingly. They have acknowledge working on it…film at 11pm! :-) On the Menu for fences, the issue has to do with what's called Focus. Not much I can do about it. Hopefully this helps and I, again, appreciate the comments. Please add more comments if you see fit. Meantime I'll get back to making rice pudding! Coconut milk and honey! yum! cheers |
