Looking at the pics on Forged in Battle's website it looks like quite a few HMG codes have the ammo being loaded from the wrong side. Eg:

This seems like such a basic error I'm wondering if the photos have just been flipped or something. Can anyone confirm? Thanks!

Some of the machine guns in WW2 had the ability to be set-up to feed from either side. I know this applies to the .30 and .50 Browning Machineguns. As for other nations, i'll let others speak to them.

As far as I know, the German MGs only fed left to right.

The US ones could feed on either side.

Oh, really? That's my bad then, all the pics I've seen of real ones show feeding from the left.

Some of FiB's MG42 packs are shown feeding from one side, some the other which is why I thought maybe the pictures had been flipped.

@Col Piron – that one's just been based wrong, the loader should be on the other side facing forwards. Battlefront's soft plastic figures suck, but for different reasons! grin
