A number of questions I need some help with.
Maybe trying to justify another platoon of cold war french.
Any help appreciated.

When did the Gallet or Spectra helmet come into use?

When did the M78 helmet come into use and how long did it last?

What years did the CCE camoflage uniforms start coming into use?

Was the lizard pattern cam used in Europe?

When did the Satin 2000 pattern uniform come into use and how lng was it used?

What uniform was used before the Satin 2000?
Was it olive green?

What year did the FAMAS come into general use?

What years were the SG540 used?

Wikipedia says the Famas came into mainline use in late 1978. Not sure about the rest.

My understand is that the Spectra Helmets were introduced early 1990s (1991-1992), replacing the F1 or M1978 helmet.

That the F1 was introduced in 1978, went through a sort of trial use period that lead to modications and saw broad standardization circa 1982.

Thanks. Seems to match up with what I found.

Europe was solid greens and F1 helemt until the early 1990s.

Famas starts slow introduction 1978-79 and then more general use from about 1980-81 onwards.
