Just a reminder . Wargames Illustrated is out next week . I have reserved 4 but may buy another 2 . If your not using the Warlord bases then buying WI is a cheaper way of building your forces up .

3 sprues in a Cavalry set or Infantry set will cost RRP £26.50 GBP
3 WI £18.00 GBP .There also maybe notes worth keeping in a file as well .

Picked up a copy of WI yesterday with a 'cavalry' sprue. In depth review coming soon, with comparison pictures with PP and SF, on KeepYourPowderDry

First impression: some nice sculpts, but quite a few that are a little disappointing. Artillery needs quite a bit of work.

Well drilling the gun barrels will improve the appearance for starters of the artillery guns . The Steel Fist Culverin is a wonderful model. Steve has had to restock Steel Fist as he was taking a battering due to a sudden surge in demand. His models are superb IMO .

I suspect that Steel Fist and others, may benefit from Epic releases in the same way as Kallistra are supposed to have done from the ACW set.

Not really going to transform their profits but additional custom for filling out and converting the plastic range with items that can be improved, or don't exist.
