I have an e-copy of a rule set in .'wps files. Very old MS Works, I think. Would like to get them into some form that can be edited.

Anyone here have a tool that would do the job?

I just sent a private message; if I can help, let me know.

.wps is an MS Works word processor file.

If Blount can't help try opening it in MS Word, you might have to delete a lot of surplus lines and blank pages.

I was able to convert it to Word; I've emailed it to you as a Word file.

By the way, Word wouldn't open it. I was able to open it in Notepad and get _most_ of the text, but all the formatting was lost. I then tried LibreOffice, which worked like a charm. Libre opened it as an ODF file; once opened, converting it to a Word file was easy. It _looks_ like the formatting was preserved in the Word file, but not having seen the original document, I'm not sure.

LibreOffice is awesome, and the price is pretty good, too.

There are free .wps to .docx coverters online.
