Still my go to books on many subjects, indeed, a sad loss.

Nic Robson01 Mar 2023 6:12 p.m. PST

One of the biggest influencers of the hobby, in my opinion.
Look at almost any ancient figures of the 1980's to 1990s and you will see Ians influence.
RIP

Very true, Nic, especially with older figures. They came right off the illustrations in his books.

My condolences to his family and friends. I consulted one of his great books just last night.

Once again, our community is a bit smaller… and poorer.

He was a stellar figure in our hobby. I own and treasure many of his books still. He was a friend to many who never got to meet him in person. God bless him and his friends and family in this hard time.

So sad- it's a rare week when I don't look at one or other of his brilliant books.
