Dear All, I am doing research for a book and can find bits and pieces of information in several books. So far I have not come across any good sources with overviews per country or region. Do you have any good recommendations to books or online resources for overviews of trade passing to and from the Baltic region during the Napoleonic wars? Statistics for British, Russian, Prussian, Swedish/Finnish, Danish/Norwegian, Dutch and other trade moving to and from the ports around the Baltic Sea is what I look for. Regards |

I found the volume I was looking for and it might be of value for others who try to understand the background for some of the decisions and alliences during the Nap Wars: THE CONTINENTAL SYSTEM, An Economic Interpretation BY ELI F. HECKSCHER, D.PHIL. Professor of Political Economy at the University College of Commerce, Stockholm Fellow of the Royal Economic Society, London ' link |

The bookstore at Les Invalides carries an atlas of statistics of Napoleonic France that may have some of the data. I'm sorry, I don't have the title. |
