I know Rear Admiral Lower Half should be nonexistant. It seems like a butt end of a bad joke.

Th US Navy still uses Commodore, but as a title only. I can see how it would be confusing to have both the rank and title signified with the same word.

Also, Grace Hopper! If you've played a modern naval combat game, that's all her.
