Are these being produced anymore? I thought, looking at Toby's site, that that is what is being offered. I (just) noticed that the home page refers to 1/1200. Thanks! Dave |

Dave, I am building down my collection and have a fair many TB 1:600. If you are interested you can email docmcbride@comcast.net. |

I know Toby as a good friend and near neighbor, and as far as I know he is still producing items in the 1/600 Line he offers. In fact, he will be at "Williamsburg Muster" this weekend as a Vendor! If you can, stop by and see them, and Toby in person! |

I emailed Toby a while ago, and asked that question. I believe he said that if you ask, you can get them. |

dave8365 Any luck getting the 1/600 models from TB? If so, I will re-engage with Toby as well, as I tried last year and he told me to wait until they were back online. Thank you! |

I apologize for the delay in posting an answer here. My yearly email verification took me several days to secure only to find out the verification email from Mr Editor went unknowingly into my spam file. Re my 1/600 scale ACW product line: it is still not up on my web site and the accompanying cart system thru Square, my web host. But for the past year I have been receiving and accommodating all requests and orders for 1/600 scale kits thru my direct email address: tobybarrett@verizon.net or go thru the alternate email system on my web site. In either case I will email you back a two-page updated brochure/listing and ordering directions. It will help me if you include your name and location in your request. The one proviso is that the 1/600 range orders take me longer to complete and mail out these days but I'm averaging about two weeks depending on USA location and a bit longer for international orders. In fact, except for the 1/1200 scale range on my web site, all my other product ranges including Sea Eagles and Eagle Tens are available via special order and again thru my email address. The reasons for all this are two-fold. I'll be 72 next month and my accident from two years ago is still a handicap although I am doing quite well. Both combine to limit my work hours, and my days of standing long hours at a time in the workshop are long over. This cannot change and completion times will lengthen if I am overwhelmed at times. In many ways I consider myself semi-retired, and very very lucky. The little I bring in from Thoroughbred, plus pensions and social security makes for no money woes. I still love what I do with Thoroughbred and that keeps me wanting to go out into the workshop most days of the week – still. I plan to have a slew of new 1/1200 scale ready later this summer, and then I plan to continue and finish some new 1/600 scale ACW naval – my first love in the world of creating. Toby Barrett PS, I will continue the best I can, as long as I can. |

Toby, First of all, glad to hear you are doing well, and no need to apologize, this is a hobby, and life comes first. Secondly, that is great to hear, I will e-mail you shortly to get the list. Hope to get my friend and I to place an order with you soon. Again, thanks for taking the time to respond, it means a lot these days. |
