For a guy who focuses on converting historical scenarios into Gnome Wars, I forget about the plethora of other "Fantasy" Historical games with a wealth of material to work with.

Alternative Armies' catalog of scenarios for Flintloque, Slaughterloo, and Panzerfauste require a little work, but they've mostly been fun skirmishes.

I realized their scenario "Twin Shotte" from the Orcs in the Webbe advent calendar is actually a great scenario to work with my sci-fi game of choice, Planet 28.

It was so quick and effective (basically single old-school D&D combat) that I've already prepped to run the scenario again, at different skill levels, tactics, and use all the skills and traits I haven't gotten around to using… including magic/psionics.

Jules and Vincent will have a lot of variety to work with, even if there's a dead bounty hunter in the trees behind them. link
