44 years ago today, The Warriors opened. I've been having a grand time modelling a number of the movie gangs for gaming with Mean Streets.

I've considered watching The Warriors, but only because I appreciate Xenophon. But I'd rather watch a movie about the real Anabasis. |

Hmmm… does Escape from New York count? How about The Omega Man? ("The Family" is very like a street gang in some respects.) 1990 The Flash TV show pilot? (Features a biker gang.) If I'm gonna watch a movie with gangs in it, they're gonna get their butts kicked to Kingdom Come. Otherwise, fahgedaboudit. |
