"2mm scale flags?" Topic

I am getting into 2mm and I am wondering how to do flags. Lot of 6mm companys make flags, I am wondering if I could use those and consider the flag like a marker more than a scale representation. Or would that just look silly? Any suggestions for flags for 2mm minis? Or is it just better to leave them off not try to put regimental flags on a 2mm scale unit?

My 2mm stuff is mainly Irregular which has (cast) flags on all the units anyway, so I just paint them. Yes, you can paint a 2mm Union flag, with a steady hand.

Flags look good on 2mm stuff, and while you could go a bit over scale, I think 6mm flags would be way too big.

If you don't want to paint/draw your own, maybe reduce the print scale on some of the printable flags?

There is a 2mm gaming page on facebook, if you do that. Some people use oversize flags for the visibility, but I can't say they are 6mm flags.

I can definitely print out 2mm flags, but I have done 3mm, and it is close to being pointless (at scale). But since I say I sell flags in any scale, I'd be doing a disservice if I didn't offer to do 2mm.
