Nice! Reminds me of the many battles I had defending my Airfix Fort Sahara from hordes of Arabs.

Bravo. Looks like it was great fun to play!

Awesome. Just started on my own FFL game, will be using The Sword in North Africa (newer version). Busy fixing up some old crumpled Palm trees and have a platoon of Truppes de Marine on the paint bench. Working in 1/72nd scale.

Looks like great fun! How did you handle the Arabs climbing the ladder into hand to hand?

The rules cover assaulting a walled fort. We have modified them to our taste. Basically, four men are on the ladder and fight the figures near the ladder. If there is no opposition then they hop onto the ramparts.

Great job! What was the scale and brand of minis (FFL and Arabs)? Starting into this genre and looking for ideas. Thanks!!

Go back to my Flicker page, under the title banner click on "Show more" which has all the information about the game.

Everyone misses that. I wish it was more prominent. Here is a link to all my French North Africa games.
