I posted a little while ago asking about 3D printed aircraft and got some good advice. Consequently I went ahead and bought some prints from the Reduced Aircraft Factory on Shapeways. I've now got some painted up, and I'm really pleased with how they've turned out – even if the enlargements are a little cruel.

What is your prop technique?

They're just the 3D printed discs that come with the models Bill

Have you ever thought of doing your own printing? There are some free files on Thingaverse. There have been 2 kickstarters so far for WWI aircraft

Thanks

John

Great photos, thanks! The clouds are especially impressive.

Thanks Daryl – just teddy bear fur

I'm really impressed with your range, I've received a shipment of Ansaldos, Breguet XIVs and FK8s which I'm painting up for the 1922 Paraguayan Revolution so I'll post some more pictures when I've finished them.

I don't suppose you've got a Spad XX on your 'to do' list, have you? It's about the only aircraft in this obscure conflict I couldn't get.

Correction – teddy bear stuffing, not fur!

SPAD 20: right now I'm still focused on planes from WWI. Though that one almost made it, so I'll keep it in mind.

Cheers Daryl, I certainly can't complain at the breadth of your range!

If you'd like to use any of my images feel free to do so if you think they're good enough.
