I have bought many different "plastic trees" by number and type and have always been thoroughly satisfied with the products.

… But just a little ashamed to buy from the PRC.

I don't know why, TVAG, since virtually everything is now produced by them, other than perhaps many wargaming minis.

Even there, they're gaining ground, since IIRC, the latest Blood and Plunder kickstarter vessels and minis were manufactured there too.

It would be nice if we made more stuff in the USA, but that seems to have gone out of fashion a very long time ago, much to the detriment of our workers and citizens.

I ordered a number of miniature trees from Wish.com, not Ali. They are fantastic, to be honest. I did buy some inexpensive hair spray to keep their foliage attached, as it was coming off, at a fast rate, out of their plastic bags. I have had no further issues since I sprayed them.

Years ago, I ordered plastic trees from a cake decorating company: they had a minimum order requirement, which was more than I wanted to buy, for myself, so I asked my gaming buddies, if they would buy some of the mass order… They did, so I ordered $70 USD worth of trees, well above the minimum order requirement. We divided them amongst ourselves, and everyone was happy.

I brushed on a dark brown urethane-stain (Minwax Polyshades Royal Walnut) to them, to give them more variation in color, and shading. I then Hot Glued them to MDF bases, which I flocked. They turned out very nice, IMO.

See if your gaming buddies will go in on it, with you. You might find a number of fellow gamers are interested in joining in on the order with you. Cheers!

I've gotten a whole bunch of palm trees and bamboo from China via ebay. No problem with them taking paint or the look, nothing you wouldn't run into with plastic trees from a local souce, probably came from China anyway).

One never has too many trees or fences in my experience.
